African Children's Choir

"Helping Africa's most vulnerable children today, so they can help Africa tomorrow."

A FREE night of wonderful music from the African Children's Choir

The African Children's Choir is more than just a group of young musicians.

The choir was founded over thirty years ago after a Canadian man, Ray Barnett, visited war-torn Uganda and decided he must do something to raise awareness in his home country to the plight of the African children he had met on his travels.

Ray began what is now called the African Children's Choir in order to provide a way for 31 African children to visit Canada and the United States. The choir was an immediate success, and as people throughout North America began to see the children for themselves, they were moved to pray and give to them in love and compassion to support the children and the family they had back home in Uganda.

Now, the ACC includes an education program, where kids can learn and develop their minds while on tour with their choir. Many of the kids that have been a part of the choir have gone on to higher education and have secured jobs to provide for their own families.

We are so look forward to welcoming the ACC here at Visalia Naz, and we know you'll love hearing them sing, seeing them dance, and worshiping God with them.

This FREE event is Wednesday night, January 23 at 7 o'clock.
